I do. Its totally thrilling - if you know who is playing and who the star players are.
Truthfully, I don't watch all the games, but most games are really cool. Starting from the quarter-finals, no game can be missed.
Just ignore the quizzes and lottery.
Enjoy the show...
Same goes for the NBA.... go HEAT go...
Wonder what you would say for Cricket?????

A very American question.
I am German and while I don't watch a lot, I am still interested. After all, it is THE biggest sport in Europe.
However, I have often thought the same thing as you when it came to baseball and American football. I mean, they are soo boring, who gives a damn? And all those breaks just for ads!
Come on, noone expects you to be interested in a sport you basically have no tradition for, but give everybody else a break - some people just love the sports they grew up with. To them it's simply not boring.

You must not like sports in general. Soccer is one of the most exciting sports to watch.
The only reason it hasn't caught on in the US is because the format is not TV-friendly. There's not enough time for commercials. No TV timeouts like in basketball or football. No TV exposure means that it will have trouble catching on.

I care. It's not boring to a lot of people. It's like saying that who gives a monkey's bum about the NBA finals. I don't.

LMAO @ monkey's bum!!!
I find soccer frightfully boring... no one gets hurt, and the players are all such drama queens...
I would rather watch Rugby or American football...hello, even Hockey!!

Soccer is exciting, and look how rough it is, and they don't wear any padding, makes American footballers look like sissys, women's soccer is in the Olympics, and a very popular sport

It doesn't bother me one way or the other. I certainly wouldn't rush home to watch it, but I do like to know who is winning etc
I think I am one of the only cars in Devon not to be parading the George cross lol.

I love it. And just an FYI, even people who are TOTALLY into it don't watch ALL the matches. That's not the point. Most people just follow one or two teams.

the reason they have the world cup is because soccer is so stupid that it didnt even make it into the olympics. the olympics voted that synchronized swimming and men's figure skating was more entertaining

I rather enjoy it!
Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean that the majority of the world isn't in tune to it.
