If you're asking, are you an Objectivist, yes I am. If you're asking if you are a Leftist-Objectivist, there can be no such thing. The Left & Right are both at war with reality.

As opposed to subjectivity? While it's true that modern society is moving more and more towards a world dominated by individual subjective interpretations of the world, I worry that too much subjectivity, especially in morality, is inherently disruptive and destructive. If everyone is right, then everyone can do anything they want, and that alone would undermine society. I worry that when people abandon society, we won't be able to survive on our own. Society and the ensuing security in numbers are why we evolved language and intelligence in the first place. For this reason, as well as in support of the value of logic, I consider myself an objectivist.

I believe I'm very objective sometimes to my detriment. Ignoring the truth or my interpretation of it has always been difficult for me. When faced with a difficult decision I try and place myself on an opposing side to get a new perspective.

I tend that way on occasion. As a universal philopsophy it never quite caught on, although I think that many of its points are enshrined in the free market.
