shaqandkobe is right...
Steve Nash gladly deserved it. You people are so stupid to say Kobe or Wade. I am a Kobe lover, but still look at this Canadian. Experts said their team would be lucky to finish with at least winning half their games...instead..54 wins, still best offense, better defense, NO STOUDAMIRE who dominated the Spurs last year, career highs for many players including Marion, House, Barbosa, Nash, DIAW who was most improved because of Nash. They finished around 6 wins less compared to last season. Clinched Pacific Division and 2nd seed. Because of him, they got far to the West Finals, and if they had Stoudamire, they woulda put more of a fight up to the Mavs.
But eh...if you are talking about the NBA Finals MVP...then uh..Dwyane Wade...he kinda basically won the championship for the Heat

Nash. The MVP he won was for the regular season. He led the Suns to a great record. Kobe and Lebron are better all-around players, but their team records weren't worthy of an MVP award. Wade did great in the post-season.

This is a no brainer! Steve Nash was the right choice. Think about it like this, Phoenix lost their most dominant player for the entire season.(Amare Stoudemire) Yet and still the Suns were just as good as the year before. Look at the guys who did play, almost all of them had career years! It's because of Nash and his ability to get his teammates good looks at the basket in the places they feel comfortable. Just remember scoring 81 points in a game doesn't make anybody else on your team better!

The season MVP goes to the player who brings the most to his team. Generally this means making all his teammates better. We're not talking individual skills here anymore than for the series MVP. Basketball is a team sport, which most people seem to forget. Every player you mentioned was on a team in the playoffs, but the award is for the season, not including play-offs. All these players made teammates look good, but Nash did more with less. Doesn't make him the best dunker or shooter, or the quickest, or the best ballhandler. However he puts himself out there on the court as a go to man to make things happen and to win games. And he's done it everywhere he's played with every combination of talent he's been given to work with.

Regular season MVP should definitely go to Kobe, hands down! With all the things he did for the Lakers, breaking all sorts of records and taking them to the playoffs with such an awful lineup, man, he really should have won! No other team had a more woeful lineup than them, even the Hawks and the Knicks had better players. Smush Parker, Chris Mihm starters? They were bench players on other teams! Nash MVP??? Rip-off!!!

KOBE BRYANT SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN MVP! He was the only player in the Lakers this year that really did everything! He did it all himself! He is so good that he got them into the playoffs! Nash sucks like hell. HE did nothing. He is a cheater when the Suns were playing in the playoffs! Nash should have given it back and gave it to Kobe! HOW UNFAIR!

D wade pretty much almost did play like he did in the finals except he had like 4-5 more assist in the regular season the differcne in points, kiobe scored 81 but cmon didnt even win a playoff series when leading 3-1 with phil jackson. Ppl underestimate lebrons teams too much. They do play D which lebron doesnt. With dat NASH deserevd it more than anybody. he lead a bunch of wut are really jsut less thqn ordinary bench players to the conference finals withought thier franchise player dat played thier d and wus thier leading scorer with 26 ppg and biggest rebounder and biggest player. and singlehandley was able to make them all real starters and gib them Career numbers in almost evry category. Cmon diaw was playing like an all star.

I say Kobe for 1.He scored 81 pts.2. He scored 62 on Dallas and sat out the whole 4th qtr.3.He showed every one he could be a playmaker instead of a scorer in the playoffs against the Suns.
