I went to a site that was obviously f'ed up and now I am getting all these popups from Targetsaver and all kinds of popup sites. When they pop up, I ad that site to my resrticted sites list. I'm still getting them. What is the point of restricted sites in the control panel-internet options?

use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer, its way better and safer

I had the same problem and dowloaded mozilla firefox browser from the net its free and workd great, also you might like to try a program outhere called "ccleaner" its also free and what it does is erase all the unwanted stuff, some sites you visit put on your computer,( I use it every time Iog off) it wont harm any thing and is pretty user friendly

Try a different popup blocker

get liek a yahoo toolbar and turn on the popup blocker that should do the trick
