Mmm? I think all relationships are serious because every relationship involves feelings which are important. I take it you are refering to a sexual relationship between two people or one that could become sexual. In any case the serious thing is to respect the other person's feelings and demand respect for yours. If two people can consistently do that and remain comitted to each other through good and bad times, I would say that is a serious relationship.

a serious relationship is a relationship that both partners care about enough to work on. it means that they want to be with each other through thick and thin and that they can count on each other to be there not only in the good times but especially in the bad times.
they have good communication and dont run away from it or hide it.
and they let everybody else know that they are together not only for the time being, but for the long haul.

firstly,u fall for ur partner not purely because of looks, but because of his or her character, then u two get to know each other before jus getting into a relationship, then when ur a couple,u two are commited to one another, knowing that some day u two will get married,u work thru conflicts, and not jus give up when one comes in the way...basically, a serious relationship means that u two don't couple up knowing that the relationship wont work out(e.g.some ppl such as international students decided n the day they couple that they will break up when they go back to their home countries etc), but the correct way shud be that when u two couple up, u know that this relationship will last a long time.ur parents and family as well as frens shud know about ur partner too.

A serious relationship is something that a high school student shouldn't have.
It involves commitment, mutual love (not just lust, infatuation, or great affection and friendship) and respect, a desire and a plan to build a future together.
