Can you ovulate and have negative opk?

Based on my BBT, I ovulated cycle day 12. OPK were all negative except CD11, which was slightly positive but faded quickly the 2nd reading of the day.
I test twice daily.
I also check cm and position, all leading to being fertile.
Why does the opk not pick up when I will ovulatie,
or should I ASSUME the slight positive on cd11 was actually positive.
Brand name of opk is answer.
Also,
last month my o was on cd12 but the opk read positive on cd16.
Maybe I should switch brands of opk tests.
Any suggestions??
