What does it mean when you call someone and the phone just clicks doesnt ring then is busy. Alltel to Verizon?

The clicking you hear is most likely the sound that alltel makes when it's looking for a service tower to connect to and then the busy signal...well...their phone is busy.

the clicking is just alltel searching for a tower. the other user was busy. Have you updated your roaming service/towers?

dial #228 from your phone, and it will update

Usually means the person is on two lines or...has happened to check his or her voicemail at the same to you maybe calling.
