Oh yeah - I'm from Oakland, CA. Not only do I stand up for it, I am very vocal about it. I have all my elected officials on my email list and speed dial.

Oh yeah, if I could legally marry my husband, it'd be my greatest honor and pleasure.

I would totally 100% support it. In fact I do. How can I want something then be ashamed to stand up for it or be a coward and ride everyone's coat-tails as they fight for our equality.

And if you're from SC and read this then VOTE NO IN NOVEMBER. Vote no to putting bigotry in our State constitution.

We deserve the right to marry just like anyone else does...

Does that answer your question?

I have never and will never support gay marriage.

I have always said that the only people who will really benefit from gay marriage is divorce lawyers.

I do, however support equal rights. If a person wants to marry their same sex partner, it should be treated equal to a straight marriage by the federal and state governments. Our constitution set in stone that neither the federal government nor state legislatures can pass legislation that deems one group less than equal to another. Any changes that have been made to prohibit the legal recognition of gay marriage will eventually be found unconstitutional. Just as there isn't much gay people can do about the states "banning" it now, the people who are against it won't be able to do anything about it when it gets overturned.

This country was founded on the ideals of equality. It has taken this long to get to the level of equality we have today. It will just take a few years longer to get complete equality.

PS I'm a conservative gay person

I believe that marriage is the union of souls, not sexes. For that matter, I think that polyandrous should be able to marry; not becfause of religious reasons but because I do believe that for some people, polyandry works.

Unfortunately here in Kansas they arleady voted and approved an ammendment to ban Gay marriage with only 33% voting for gay marriage.

Even worse is that I didn't vote because I only had so much time before work and I took my future mother-in-law to vote (she had a broken leg and couldn't drive), and I think she voted against gay marraige :(

Everyone should have equal rights under the law. I have a gay best friend and he should be allowed to marry and receive benefits should anything happen to his partner. I would support this publicly any time any where.

I would publicly announce my support for anything that insures equal rights under the law.

Can you imagine how terrible life will be if the fanatic Christians actually took total control of the country?

Gay Marriage a big subject to choose. I support it. I believe that if the constitution say "pursuit to happiness" then we should pursue it. I am not saying that we should only pursue it only because it leads to happiness, but because it's something to let people be people. Whats the point of being who you are if you cant show it.

In Massachusetts, Gays and Lesbians have been permitted by law to marry.

The sky didn't fall.
The birds are still chirping.
The sun is still shining.

I bash gay people for fun. Take their money. Give to the needy.
I don't care if they get married, as long as they stay away from me and my family and the places i go to beat them up.
