i really don't see what the big deal is, i'm straight and i can still see why they should be able to get married, i think we have bigger things to deal with than trying to stop Gays from getting married

I believe that it is morally wrong for people of the same gender to get married. 1 a (1) : the state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law (2) : the state of being united to a person of the same sex in a relationship like that of a traditional marriage. This is the dictionary definition, so people of the opposite sex getting married is not even logical. Even when homosexuality was okay in Greek society they didn't allow people of the same sex to marry. Why? Because it's wrong. Mormons believed in allowing men to marry multiple women, and this was part of their religious beliefs....did the government change the law; No. So if we don't change the law for religious beliefs why would we change the law for what feels good sexually for some people. I don't see anyone crying on here for the poor Mormons.

Why should it bother anyone. If they want to get married then they should. Most likely they already live as if they were married so marriage gives them more rights as a couple

Let them get married so we can stop hearing about it!! Let them have a real mortgage and medical insurance to pay.... So we can stop focusing on them and something more important like the homeless children and families, the elderly. That is more important than Gay marriage yet our tax money keeps going to congress for GAYS.... let them get married and move to another agenda!!

I don't even agree with that disgusting lifestyle, it's an abomination to God and just plain disgusting , it's like having sex with yourself, how unnatural and nasty. i do agree though that people have the right to do what they want, i don't hate them at all! I just pray not just for them, but for everyone because there is no greater sin at all. Of course ,you can tell my feelings about gay marriage, trying to make something as unnatural as a cat on a dog's body, copy the natural. Just sickening!

What two consenting adults do is there business , I don't care if they get married and I think any laws banning it are UN constitutional.
But I doubt any church would perform the ceremony . My State made it against the law here in Nebraska Republican Bible belt

I agree with you. It isn't right to discriminate against someone based on sexual orientation. Their love is equal to mine.

Agreed - if two people love each other they have the right to affirm their commitment in the eyes of the state, the country, and their god.

I oppose gay marriage. I do not believe God designed two people of the same gender to be together intimately.
