No. Gestation is 9 months or 40 weeks. You are big if your doctor says you are the size of 9 mos. You need to be careful and not get anymore bigger by watching what you eat and not make pregnancy an excuse to eat more. I gained 30 pounds with my pregnancy, the baby was too big and wouldn't come down the birth canal so I had to have a C-section. I'm not trying to scare you, but you need to be careful about gaining more weight at this point. At 7 mos the baby's not ready. His/her lungs are not well formed and might have respiratory problems if born now. Good luck! your baby will be beautiful and c-section or normal birth, you will bounce back!

The doctor will measure your uterus at each visit. Just because your uterus is measuring 9 months does not mean you will deliver early.
Your baby may be on the bigger side, or you may have extra amniotic fluid. If your doctor was worried they would let you know and provide you with the appropriate care.
One of the postings said to be sure not to gain anymore weight from now till the end. PLEASE do not believe this. This lady probably had a pelvis that would not let the baby through or other issues that she just did not understand. It generally has very little if anything to do with your weight gain. Gaining 25-35 pounds with your pregnancy is NORMAL and HEALTHY!
Measuring your uterus is not scientific, so there is plenty of room for error.
Two of my friends recently had babies and both were measuring 40+ weeks at 7 months and their babies were not huge, both were about 8 pounds at term (40 weeks).
Good luck to you and remember, please visit with your doctor if you have furthur concerns.

it's possible but not likely. but it is very likely that since you are so big that you won't make it to the full 40 weeks. and there isn't anything wrong with that either. but just talk to your doctor. if he thinks it is time for you to have the baby he will let you know. and the baby will too. the only thing with getting really big is that it can cause complications during delivery but if your doctor thinks that it will be a problem then he can induce you sooner or do a c-section when its time. don't worry about it though. you'll do just fine

It's possible. Maybe the dates are off and you are actually due sooner or if the baby is big, the doctor may take the baby sooner to make for an easier delivery after testing to make sure the baby is ready.

You might deliver early, but probably not because of that. One of my friends was frequently asked if she was having twins when she was pregnant, but she carried the baby, actually, one day past the due date. Some women just gain more weight than others during pregnancy.

It's possible that could happen. The best thing is probably to wait and see. So, I think you should be ready.

It's a possibility. Is the baby bigger. You should discuss that possibility with your doctor.
Good Luck
