I use fenderplayersclub.com, but I'm still searching for one that can give me some tips and teach me how to play some songs. I don't want to sign up or pay for anything.

is a good place, it's got over 100,000 tabs i think.

If you are more interested in learning technique and such:
www.cyberfret.com
Is excellent. It even introduces some music theory stuff.

I greatly enjoyed cyberfretbass.com and its instructions that are well geared towards the novice (like me).
