Is there something bothering her? Did she have to do all the housework the night before and go to bed fuming?

Trust me.. I am not a morning person but i found that when i get stuck doing all the work and then i go to bed and someone wakes me up in the morning I am a grouchy person.. I have never been a morning person but i have to make myself get up for the sake of my kids since my husband works those hours.

Alot of the reason I am grouchy is i get stuck doing everyone's laundry and house chores when everyone in my house hold can clean up after themselves but won't. I usually try not to go to bed fuming but even when i do i wake up mad because the cycle always starts again..

The best thing to do is make sure she doesn't have to do alot of the work. If the house needs picked up don't make her do it all help her with it or give her the day off and do it all yourself .. you will see an improvement!!!

I always feel better when my house doesn't look trashed!

Dude...woman are much different from us. We wake up all cheery and glad to be up and alert...They wake up and have to adjust. My suggestion to you is to give her her space in the morning let her do her meditation and mood adjustments...Say things like "Good Morning baby" and "Is there anything i can do for you today?" I find this is an easy way to break the mood or the ice.......also., don't think that she's grouchy all the time. if you give her space and let her do her adjustment she will (in time) wake and want to be affectionate with communication and plans and schedules and may even make you breakfast and iron your clothes......good luck

If she's not a morning person and you love her, leave her alone!!! I'm not a morning person and i hate when my husband wakes me up! Wait 'till she had her coffee, gone to the bathroom, and then, only then, talk to her. You are not supposed to put her in another mood unless she's asking for help. TSH! Why can't men understand?

My response is the same as the first, but allow me to elaborate:

Pleasure HER in the morning
- don't make it about you and the fact that you (like all guys) woke up with a woody.

Also - is she getting enough sleep? If you have kids, it would be a huge load off her if you do your share of caring for them at bedtime, during the night if they wake up, and in the morning when they're up at the crack of dawn... Interrupted sleep is the WORST!!

make coffee in the morning for her. My wife could wake up meaner than a rabid raccoon. Then one day, I woke up early and made the coffee. The aroma filled the house, she awoke with a smile on her face and bam! things were good from t hen on. Try other ways to make her smile in the morning if you get my drift.......brush your teeth first though....

Sounds like she is not a morning person....just give her some space and time to really wake up. What about bringing her some coffee or tea?

She must be miserable. Some people are not morning people. It wouldn't hurt to ask her if this mood swing is due to lack of sleep, pressures, etc. But don't ask her in the morning!
