Okay this may seem stupid and everything but recently I found out my boyfriend had been talking to girls online, I'm cool with that but when I found out some of the things she had been saying to him like if she lived near him she wouldn't be without him and she now texts him a lot, I told him how I feel but he claims he loves me and not to worry yet I still feel a bit threatened by it, am I being stupid?

i would question the, "not to worry yet" when should you worry. like he's planning on you worrying in the future and will let you know. if he wasn't giving her his phone number i would say let it go...internet chat never seem to last very long...short lived always...but he gave her his phone number? why? obviously he did cause she's text messaging him now. so that brings up how many times has he talked to her on the phone. that then brings up a whole new aspect then just the internet messages. cause IM theres always a certain anonimity no matter who your talking about, but he's crossed that line. i would question him on these things. tell him how would it make you feel if i was talking on the phone with a guy and was being secretive about it to an extent, texting each other, etc etc. cause on some level he's encouraging her behaviour...even if he's not asking her to say that stuff...he ain't stopping her..so she's getting the message that he thinks all that she's doing and saying is cool and he likes it.

No you are just feeling insecure about things. It may seem pretty harmless but I think he should know when to cut off the hi-jinx. If he continues to be all that to this girl and even spends more time with her on-line than with you, you should find a way to see whats on his mind and who he really wants to be with. If she is far away, then you are in the clear. Just keep an eye on your man, you don't know what he is thinking.

No, this is not stupid cuz I feel you. but you know if you are not OK with this I suggest you have a talk with your boyfriend and when I say a talk I mean explain to him about your fears in this situation and ask him what he would have done if he was in your shoes
