It sounds like what you are describing is ACANTHOSIS NIGRICANS. here's A WEBSITE THAT MAY HELP. http://www.aocd.org/skin/dermatologic_diseases/acanthosis_nigrica.html

CUT AND PASTE
This isn't life threatening but you should get to a doctor ASAP
its an indicator for and underlying problem.
Good Luck!

If you shave your underarms that could cause irritation and discoloring from the blade. Rub cocoa butter or any fading cream under them at nighttime after you wash away your deodorant to help fade the black away. Deodorants can irritate skin as well. Use a spray on since the bottle doesn't come in direct contact with your skin. A rub on deodorant stick may be carrying bacteria and germs and causing irritation. And be careful what soap you use as well. Try a shower gel or baby wash under your arms and always, pat them dry thoroughly. Don't leave them wet, underarms can become like athlete's foot if they aren't dried off properly.

Stop scrubbing, try gentle exfoliating. And then find a good moisturizing cream. Also you may want to seek advice from a dermatologist if the problem persists.

Good luck, T

you can but something like coco butter to take the dark away or try using Avon banishing cream or skin success fade cream but you got to use it like at night when you go to bed after you take the deod off and when you keep touching it it makes it more sore

You might be allergic to dove deorderant. Don't use anything for a few day, but ivory soap and rinse well with warm water. If it isn't better, within a few days, see a dermatologist.

Ignore all of these people and go to a dermatologist. Your skin needs professional help.

They are actually BLACK? It sounds like you need to see a doctor! Black skin is dead skin, it is infected skin, it is needs-to-see-a-doctor skin.

i think you should go to the doctor...you could have a rash or fungus. im not trying to gross you out and it doesnt mean you are a dirty person however, it is very moist in our armpits and very possible that this is the case.

at any rate, please go to your doctor. if it is an infection, that is dangerous.

God Bless!
