Go see your doctor, or at the very least, call him. It could be just heartburn, or it could be something more serious. Hope you feel better soon!

OMG! When I was pregnant just breathing would give me heart burn. Stock up on the TUMS!! Keep them with you all the time. And they are great to take beacuse they have tons of calcium. Thats really the only thing that would help me. Rolaids would give me more heartburn so I stuck to tums. Good luck.

The only thing that works....no tums, no rolaids, no anti-acid over the counter anything has worked for me, pregnancy heart-burn just for some reason isn't the same as it is for regular people. I get it no matter WHAT I eat or drink!!! All you have to do is drink a spoonfull of vinegar...it'll be nasty and burn for about a second then it's just GONE!!!!!! Try it!

loudmouth is right - ~~~TUMS~~~they also have calcium which you need during your pregnancy. Always, keep you doctor informed. Heart burn is usually normal. Some "wives tales" say that means your baby will have a lot of hair on its head.

Definitely talk to your doctor first but when I was pregnant with my daughter anything and everything gave me heartburn. It would even wake my up in the middle of the nite!! My doctor told me I could take Zantac 75 and it worked wonders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything was fine after that. It is OTC but ask your doctor anyway. All doctors are different and have different opinions. Good luck!!!

Have you had your bloodpressure checked lately?
Aloe vera juice works great. Baking Soda (about a tablespoon to 8 oz glass of water works in a pinch.

I had terrible heartburn with both of my kids! The old wives tale goes that heartburn means the baby will be born with hair. I don't know how true that is, but both of mine were! LOL
Talk to your ob about which OTC he/she recommends that's safe for you and baby. Mine said "whatever works best for you".
Good Luck!

i know where you're coming from, i asked my doctor about heartburn, and he suggested i take regular strength liquid malox, it's over the counter, and if you have doubts you can ask a pharmasist at any major drug store chain like walgreens, or cvs. you can ask them what over the counter methods you can use to help with the heartburn.
