I want to be more popular. How should i act, what should i wear. What makes a guy look good?

Don't change your appearance and personality thinking that will make you more popular. The popularity will fade over time. You get more respect for being yourself and being different than everyone else. But if you are seriously concerned about your social life, then take a look at current fashion magazines, window shop at the mall, (No, its ok, don't listen to 50 Cent) and if you see a guy in the street whose outfit stands out to you, by no means ask him where he got it from but make a mental note of it for later use. Ask a few females your age what clothing they like to see a man in and take their suggestions into consideration. Always dress comfortably and neat and if all else fails, invest in a suit. A dapper man in a suit will win anyone's heart.

Don't change youself just to be popular! God made you special in your own way. Act like yourself,I mean be friendly and funny,and wear something in style. My brother wears a lot of cargo pants and hawaiian overshirts,and he has a pair of vans. Whatever floats your boat and compliments your body. Just remember,being popular isn't everything. Just be cheerful around everyone you meet, talk to everyone..but don't annoy them. Look them straight in the eyes..(this shows them that you don't fear them or you respect them)...If they make fun of you, come back with a wise remark and they will follow you.

Try not to be a kiss up.

Be a leader...not a follower, or you will be crushed. When it comes to clothing, just don't look like a bum (because people are very materialistic). Be involved in a lot of things and know yourself.You can't impress everybody, so don't try too hard.

Don't wear baggy clothes, that are too big. If anything, try to try on clothes a bit smaller then you would normally. I tend to love a guy in Converse, but thats just me. Do something with your hair, don't just leave it fluffy. I love guys in mohawks-not long ones, just where the hair comes to a point in the head. I love guys who I can talk to,and who listen to me. Don't be girl crazy, and don't always talk about the girl you like.

if you wanna look cool don;t go prep likt that idiot who mentioned american eagle, if you HAVE to get something there, get jeans and you need super low'rise boot cut, and second, get a piercing, if you have one already, (and i mean ear with your parents permission) go to hot topic and ask for 18 gauge circular barbells or 18 gauge captive bead rings. then you wanna go for band logo tees, and never jsut wear a t-shirt, wear something oevr it, go toyour closest army surplus store and pick up a vintage dress jacket, and then you will need basketball shorts those are always cool, but go to champs theirs are always longer, and if your shorts dont cover the knees they're not cool.
