Shouldn't man head the list? There are varieties of poisonous snakes, spiders, scorpions and fish etc.. However, there is a saying that one man's meat is another man's poison. A person can get a scratch from a cat or a bite from a dog and die. While a cat or dog may not be regarded as poisonous per se, if the body's defense is low, toxins may overwhelm the person who has been scratched or bitten.Another person may be bitten by a poisonous snake and the body may build up antibodies. As for man, you would not want a person infected with a lethal illness to give it to you.

I heard that 9 of the 10 most poison snakes in the world are in Australia. The other one is in Florida, USA
When it comes to poisonous critters, snakes are all I worry about.
