Of course it is relative.

Is it more moral to euthanize someone in severe pain who is dying from cancer and wants to end their life, or to keep them alive because you believe in the sanctity of life?

Is it more moral to give the death penalty to a heterosexual woman who drowns her 5 kids in the bathtub and to place the 5 kids in a single home with loving, gay foster parents than it is to give her life in prison and give the 5 kids to 5 different foster families?

If you are mormon, it is moral to have more than one wife.
If you were a Judaic Hebrew in the Old Testament it was moral to have more than one wife.
If you are Christian suddenly it becomes immoral to have more than one wife.

Is it more moral for McDonald's to throw away thousands of good hamburgers every day because they are 3 minutes over their hold time and it's their POLICY to throw them in the dumpster than to give them to homeless people who can't afford to buy a decent meal?

Black and white morality? Not in this universe.

No, it is not. I think there is an absolute sense of right and wrong in each one of us and we just tend to ignore it and follow our own way. There are guidelines still. The Bible is a reference if we want to know what is moral and immoral. So it is not relative or subjective at all..

Yes. Completely.

Morality is a tool, a code of behavior to restrict people's actions. It is based on a set of beliefs. If there was only one belief, there would be one morality. There are, however, many versions of morality because there are many beliefs.

Do what is right for you, that makes you happy, that does not cause harm to yourself or others. Let that be your guide.

I wish you Peace.

There has to be an absolute right or wrong. People cannot just be left to their own versions of morality. You can look through the history books and see what man has done when left without law and people to uphold it. Too many atrocities to name.

It's relative to what you believe. It's simply belief that makes something wrong. Who says that murder is wrong? Us. Animals murder. Because they don't view it as wrong.

Depends if heaven and hell exist.

If they don't, then no. We've been good for nothing.

If so, then we need to be as good as possible.

I'd prefer to be on the safe side ;)
