That is highly unlikely. The way a tampon works is to absorb the menses that is discharged from the uterus when you do not become pregant (in other words, your period). Tampons are usually made of cotton or another similar material. As it absorbs the flow, it expands and conforms to your vaginal cavity. It's similar to how a sponge works- as it gets wet, it expands. So, it is unlikely your tampon will fall out while swimming. They only way I could imagine it would fall out is if you experienced some type of high pressure on or near your vagina, such as if you were hit by a firehose or caught in a whirlpool. However, it would still be highly unlikely the tampon would be dislodged. If for some odd reason it does, you still have your swim suit to keep it in place, unless you plan on skinny dipping.
If you are still worried about your tampon falling out, consider wearing a tight pair of panties under your swim suit. If there is no room between your body and your swimsuit, there will not be any room for the tampon to fall out.

No, as long as you put it in propperly, it will not come out if you swim, or do any regular daily activity.
Tampons are the ideal solution for active girls who play sports and especially swim, and even for other girls they are MUCH more comfortable than pads, they are cleaner than pads, and much more environmentally friendly than pads.
Tampons do not hurt, and they are not at all uncomfortable, though sometimes girls are a little bit uncomfortable with the idea of inserting them at first.
One way to get past your fear of using a tampon, is to become better acquainted with yourself. Some time when you are not on your period, but before your next period, and when you have some time to be alone, take a few minutes to explore and see what the whole area is about. This is something that is essential for any girl.
Get comfortable, use a hand mirror, and with your other hand spread yourself open and look around. It is not dirty, or ugly, or wrong in any way, it is your body, you should know what it is about and how it works. When you are comfortable, slip a finger inside a few inches.
Next time you have a period, you will be ready to give a tampon a try, and will have a good idea what sort of experience to expect. It is different, but it is not bad. Honestly a tampon is WAY better than a pad ever was. Don’t feel bad if you don’t get it quite right the first few times you try it – it can take a bit of practice. Just keep trying until you get it right. When it is right you won’t be able to feel it at all.
Using a tampon with an applicator is easier at first, but I think the OB without the applicator is easier, more comfy to put in, and much better for the environment. You will have to pick for yourself.
Which ever one you get, follow the instructions on the box, and do not leave it in for longer than the instructions say is safe.

Can a tampon go beyond the vagina and get lost inside the body?
No. The opening at the end of your vagina is only the size of a pencil point-much too small for a tampon to fit through.The tampon is held in place by the walls of your vagina until you pull on the cord to remove it.
Can a tampon fall out?
When properly inserted, the muscles around the entrance to the vagina will hold the tampon in place so it cannot fall out...........

It won't fall out, but be careful swimming. It won't be gross or anything, but don't dive off any diving boards; tampons can suddenly shoot upward into your uterus if you make a sudden downward movement, such as diving or doing down a steep decline on a roller coaster.
Otherwise, you are absolutely OK to swim. Nothing will come out.

No, don't worry. A tampon can't fall out because the vagina muscles keep it in place. You can do anything in a tampon.

No IT WILL NOT FALL OUT !!! U MUST BE PRETTY YOUNG TO NOT KNOW THIS........
I WOULD SAY USE A PAD WHEN NOT GOING IN SWIMMING. THAT WAY UR NOT HOLDING EVERYTHING INSIDE, AND IT IS ABLE TO LET THE BLOOD COME OUT. IT'S NOT MEANT TO STAY INSIDE, CAN CAUSE INFECTIONS AND U DON'T NEED OR WHAT THAT.... BUT WILL GETTING IN THE WATER
A PAD WILL NOT HOLD IT IN AND COULD GET OUT. NOT SAFE FOR OTHER AND THEN EVERYONE WOULD SEE YOU TIME IS HERE... SO YEA IT IS FINE TO USE. BUT GET THE PAD BACK ON WHEN NOT IN THE POOL OR WATER......
~~~```ENJOY YOURSELF
No, just like the other times that you put one in, it will only come out when you remove it.
No. You have muscles in the vaginal canal, which will keep the tampon in place.
