If you are using Windows, you'll have to re-format.

You can build a cpu but it is more likely you built a computer.First make sure that you plugged the internal PC speaker in the correct place on the motherboard. Check the manual. Or maybe the board has a buzzer already built on, in that case good.

Next check that you have connected all the led's and powerswitch correctly. Once again check the manual. If you press power and the lights come on then the problem is likely not with the power.

Assume speaker is working and connected correctly. If you can hear any beeps then it's good. no beeps is bad. If you hear beeps re-insert screencard and ram. if the beeps continue one of these components is not compatible with your motherboard, try swapping htem with other components.

No beeps (with lights of case burning, and speaker plugged in an working) means that there is iether fault with the motherboard or the cpu. you did put in a cpu I hope. It doesn't happen often but the motherboard might be DOA or it doesn't support the Cpu you put in.

WOW! You must be like super rich or something, building your oven CPU (Central Processing Unit). Maybe there is something wrong with the CPU that you built and not with the other stuff.

How do you build a CPU processor? I think you either have a defective processor or you are not putting enough power supply into the system. Or parts of your system hardware is not compatible with the others.
