This is a very interesting game. Spain should win this game because they are playing better then France. The problem is the Spain has never been able to win the big game while the French are former champions. I think that this the year Spain breaks through.Spain wins 2-1.

Well Caz
I reckon your money's gonna be pretty safe if your putting it on Spain, Along with Argentina they have been the most impressive Team in the Tournament
Competent in Defence, especially Carlos Puyol who is the beating heart of Spaniards.
Great in Midfield, Xabi Alonso and Luis Garcia ran the show against the Ukraine and they're backed up by the likes of Febregas, Xavi and Iniesta
Then there's the Strikeforce and Fernando Torres and David Villa have looked like the best partnership at the World Cup. Both of them are Fantastic finishers and have struck up a great understanding already. And then there is alway's Raul to come off the bench if one of them is having an off day

As for France they really have not clicked at all, Yet.
Barthez is a accident waiting to happen, and they're defence and Midfield have seen better days. Interestingly they had they're best performance of the Competition against Togo while Zinedine Zidane was forced to sit out the game for 2 yellow cards, But he'll be back in for the Spain game.
Up Front Henry's had a bit of a howler so far but typical of Thierry no matter how badly he's performing he can always score a vital goal.
So as I said before your money looks pretty safe and I would go for a 3-1 victory for Spain

It could really go either way as the 2 teams have a somewhat equal value but I think France will beat Spain and I think it's gonna be a very difficult game.

I would put my money on France because:
- overall, Barthez was reassuring, with a few spectacular saves against the Swiss
- they are impressive in defence: altough they conceded a goal against South Korea, Thuram and Gallas looked impressive and pretty comfortable with just about anything anyone threw at them. Sagnol does a fair job on the right and he's always willing to be involved in attacks. On the left, Abidal is very aggresive and accurate.
- Vieira - Makelele is an impressive couple. Makelele is maybe the best in the world in the holding position in front of the defence. He sits back and covers for other players. Vieira likes to run a lot and do pressing, going from one box to another, his heading ability is a constant menace, we've seen it in all 3 matches so far.
- Henry is in good shape, and getting better, he just needs to focus in front of goal
- everyone criticised Zidane and I can agree that he wasn't spectacular but if you look at the stats, you will see he did a fair job, playing a lot of balls and circulating the ball well and accurately.
- Ribery should get more playing time, because he is speeding up the build-up play a lot and his distribution is very good too.

Spain are logical favorites, but I really think France can make it.

A good quesiton?
I think Spain will show they are the stronger team, France seem a little slow and shallow at times, and the world cup is no place to be strolling happily along, as we have seen in earlier matches.
So I will back Spain for that one as well, it looks like handy money.

Betting your money on Spain was a very smart move. And I'm so happy that most everyone here seems to love Spain as much as I do! :)
