All the above are true, but you also have interactive white boards (IWB's). These are a white board upon which the display screen from your computer is projected. You can use the special pens to write on the screen and what you are really doing is interacting with the computer.

It's great for teaching because you can use it like the normal white boards the others have told you about, but you can save the work to be recalled at a later date instead of having to write it all out again.

You can also show anything that you could call up on a computer screen to show a whole class. I wouldn't be without mine!
