A male friend´s wife just gave birth to a beatiful baby boy, their first one, since his birth my buddy has been snnaping pictures of him all over the place, and sending them to all of the couple's friends and family emails, I've receive a bunch of them but I was a bit concerned when I saw one with the baby on the nude, Its a very standar pic, the baby just after his first bath, but I was concern not for my friend but for the picture falling into the wrong hands, I've read a lot in the news about the pervs that crave this kind of picures and other horrific stuff and I warned him about these perils, he said not to worry but still... I told him I'd ask around in yahoo answers, so lets hear it!

WE ALL HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THESE THINGS FROM TIME TO TIME. IF THERE WERE A WAY THAT WE COULD KEEP OUR KIDS LOCKED UP AND SAFE, THEN THAT WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM. BUT SINCE WE CAN'T, THEN WE CAN ONLY HOPE. I'VE TAKEN A NUDE PIC OF MY DAUGHTER BECAUSE SHE IS MY FIRST ONE...I'M CONCERNED MYSELF, BUT THERE REALLY ISN'T MUCH I CAN DO BUT TO HAND DELIVER THE PICS TO MY FAMILY. My parents have a couple of pics of me and my bro naked one is when I was about 2 and my bro was about 1. Another one when we were about 4 and 3 jumping off our diving board. I think they're kinda cool, but my family is the only ones that's seen them since we were little kids. My own sons will likely see them some day. Even without the world being stupid scared of weirdos, I think those really should be just for family.

My mother didn't like pictures like that, and I am happy with no having any. I am ok with pictures in the bath, that don't show genital areas. I don't think parents ask their kids if it's ok to be pictured like that, so I don't think it should be done.
I know they are beautiful, and they're innocent, but pictures of them after the shower, covering their privates with a towel are just a nice, sweet and innocent. Those who have been molested, and see pictures of little babies, know how vulnerable they feel, and how awful it feels.
I have a friend who cannot look at Little kids naked,cause she remembers back at when she was molested, so I feel really bad for her. Times are changing, and sad things happen, but that's why we need to protect kids.

It isn't likely that any of the people he is sending the bath picture to is going to do anything harmfull to the baby. I took the same first bath pic for all my kids and never worrried that anything would happen...I think in this case that you shouldn't be worried either. Best wishes

Naked baby pictures are very common. It's when the baby grows up and is like 1 or 2 that it's uncommon and shouldn't be done.

If he's keeping it within his social circle, in e-mail, I don't think there's any reason to worry. Furthermore, newborns are fine being shown in the nude after their first bath. No one would fuss about something like that... Its when they get older that people get crazy.

I dont have any pics of my kid in the nude. One very cute pic , i can see and that's understandable, but anything more and it does get to be very unusual.

there has been painting of naked kids and then pic but it is not wrong unless you have something to hide the ppl that raise so much he** about nude pic of small kids are the sick one

It is a BABY...and I see NOTHING wrong with that. I agree that in the wrong hands it could get nasty, but allow it to get into the wrong hands.
