After six years I should think that "stepping-up to the plate" is past tense ... it calls for more like "over the fence, for the home run" to me! Why do we women feel we have to settle (for less than what we know we deserve)?

You should try to work it out. He obviously cares about you and you him if you have been together that long. Try to work it out. Sit him down talk to him. Communication is the biggest part of a relationship. If you tried everything and it still doesn't work then I would say go head get the divorce.

You should try counseling first, and if you guys can't work through your issues then move on with your lives. Good luck.
