My computer trys to delete nything i click or highlight is there some virus that causes thid?

to elaborate i am pretty good with computers but this stumps me its been happening the past 3 weeks and i cant figure out whats wrong

(lots of online virus scanners only tell you if you have a virus, this one will remove it.)

Running Microsoft XP? or, WinME?, or, 98?

Download these FREE programs (see a google .com search for each one), and run them in the order listed:
AVG
Spybot S&D
Lavasoft adaware
Crap Cleaner
hijackthis
shootthemessenger
Firefox
Thunderbird

and simply stop everusing Internet Exploder and Lookout Express! They have direct access to all system files, and execute whatever crapware your cursor surfs over!

Another option is to download the PCLinuxOS-p92 image, that you burn to CDrom, from http://pclinuxos.com
It has NONE of the 150,000 Microsoft Virus Definitions!

I would try running a spy scan and a virus scan, preferably in safe mode. Reboot and hit F8 right away until you get a screen with the option.

Run a virus scan on your computer, it sounds as if you have gotten a bad virus. once you have cleaned the virus, use System Mechanics6 pro to keep your cpu clean and free of computer killers like viruses, and other pest.
