Alcohol in your system depends on how much you drink, how much of a resistance you have, and if you eat or drink anything afterwards, but legally the common time is 8 hours. Alcohol in your system is the same as in your blood.

A good rule of thumb to follow: our liver, sweat, and breath filters out alcohol from our body at a rate of approximately one drink's worth per hour, where one drink is a bottle of beer, a glass of wine, or a shot of anything hard. It's not exact, but it may help for most cases.
