Does anyone know what "swamp ducks" are?

Swamp ducks are also known as wood ducks. They get much of their food by foraging on the ground in woody swamps. It usually nests in tree cavities by a water source.

My scientific intuition tells me that this may indicate ducks that live in a swamp.
