The duke (or duc) is/was a member of the exiled Italian Royal Family and was residing at the Royal Savoy Hotel in Lausanne Switzerland in October 1954 but I do not know his family name (possibly Savoy, the Royal Family name) I am researching as I have just purchased the car he owned at that time
