Is it common for women to "fake it"when they are having sex and why do they do it ?

Yes, it's common. Hey, sometimes we are just not into it ... and it takes us longer ... and we just do it for our man. It's not that we don't enjoy it, we do. We women are more into what is leading up to it. The orgasm is just the topping on the cake. I take charge of that part of it on my own, and most men are not offended by it. You cannot fool an experienced lover, however. The truth is that we tighten- up when we have an orgasm, and a woman can scream and huff and puff all she wants, the experienced lover knows better ... that's all. And if a woman says that she's never faked it, she's not telling the truth.

Some women fake it because they are unhappy with the relationship.By faking the guy usually finishes pretty soon afterwards. Boredom is also a cause. Frustration. Dishonesty on the part of the woman. Or she is simply no longer interested in that particular guy. Some men do not know how to wait on the woman and some women are afraid to tell the guy what he should do to make it "real" for her. So she fakes it.

I guess this happens because men feel so frustrated when their partners don't get an orgasm. But this is not a competition.
Another stupid thing that goes on in men's minds is that if a woman makes a sound (sigh or whatever) it means either that she's having an orgasm or faking one. This is an urban legend that could not be more remote from truth.

Never had to fake an orgasm - God you people have crap sex lives - maybe you should try Making Love.......... Why would anyone fake an orgasm? That surely would make a man think he's better in bed than he really is. How? I don't get it.

It is but I don't know why. Every time she fakes it she's just reinforcing that you are doing something good when you really aren't . Let her know that it's okay to let you know when it isn't working so you can change you strategy. Otherwise you can come off as a greedy lover who only cares about your O. Plus if both people are having fun your more likely to get back on the ride.

Yes and no...A wise woman will give the man instructions in one way or another to get her there. A wise man will watch and listen to the instructions while he is getting there. All women are able to have orgasms...just nature. But, some are harder to get off than others. IF the man fails, in many cases, it is the woman's fault, for she was either too shy or too embarrassed to do the instructing. Its very common indeed. Women do this because they dont want to hurt your feelings, and are too polite to tell men that they are crap in bed. DONT do it, girls- act how you feel, and get these guys to either shape up or ship out!!!
