Our forces scoop them up and whisk them off for identification in conjunction with the local authorities then the remains are returned to the family for burial.

Obviously, the dead in Afghanistan and Iraq are mourned by their families much like American dead are mourned by theirs!
They are buried by their surviving family members.

we? I was born here in the USA and I didn't kill any one but any ways I gees they just got berried like all death people if they are identify if not they still got berried but with out name and no family that is sad, just like the wars. I dint like your Q.
