Sounds like a lot of work for a little bit of money. Go out and start looking for a different job. Once you land one, then quit. It's nice having your own money when you want something, so stay where you're at....at least for now! And good luck finding a job you like that pays better!

It depends- do you have enough experience or skill to get a better paying job? Could you work the required hours? If you are not yet 18 it may also be difficult to find a much better paying job anyway.
If you are 18, try to either go to school while continuing to work (vocational can get you professionally licensed in most trades within 9 months to 2 years, and if you get a job that way, you could start at anywhere from $7 an hour to $15 an hour in most places) or become management. However, it would suck being a manager if you already hate the job.
It's really up to you.

First of all, it's your boss's decision whether you worked your butt off or not. Teens such as yourself must understand that you are not in charge when it comes to your job...your boss is, and you must work for your paycheck. If you want to make more money, here is a tip that is guaranteed to work: Go to your McDonald's job, and do it better than your co-workers. McDonald's managers are able to give raises, but they typically dont because the workers don't care about doing a good job. They get to work, have a bad attitude, complain about their job (even to the customers!), and constantly look at their watch for quitting time. Look, it is SO EASY to get a raise! Bust your tail. Get to work on time, every time. Smile even if you dont want to. Keep your personal problems at home. Treat the customers 10 times better than your co-workers. Voluteer when the boss needs something done, even if you cant stand it. Offer to cover for other employees who call in sick or cant make it.
You work at McDonalds. You DO NOT work your butt off. Compare your job with a coal miner. Compare your job with ANY labor job. Do you really think you work your butt off? If you really believe that, you are not ready for the workforce, and you will be stuck in low-paying jobs, griping about it forever.
Your paycheck directly reflects your effort. Increase your effort, change your poor attitude and your paycheck will increase as well.
You are a teen. You dont need a cellphone, except maybe to look cool--and you will soon find out that looking cool, being cool and acting cool dont do a thing except cause you to spend more money. And here we are back at your problem. You dont make enough to be cool, so why bother?
And yes, I speak from experience. My first job was McDonalds. I started with a bad attitude. I was fired because I told them I was working too hard. Looking back, all I was doing was cooking food. What an idiot I was.
In closing, if you want a better paycheck, you must work for it and you must do your job better than your co-workers. That means drop the attitude, leave your lifestyle and problems at home. Dont get piercings or tattoos that the public can see (yes, Im serious) as this will limit the jobs that you will be hired for (most are minimum wage), and give your boss a good day's work, and they will reward you with raises. GUARANTEED.

That depends. Nowadays, it's good for a teen to have a job because 1. it will keep you out of trouble, and 2. it will give you practical experience in the real world. You should only quit if you or your parents believe that it is interferring too heavily with your education. Other than that, if you plan to quit just because you don't like it there and you want another job, I would strongly suggest that you lock in another job BEFORE quitting the McDee's.

As a teen your choice of jobs is very limited - yeah you probably feel you work your tail off for very little money and very little appreciation or respect - lol well the hard work will always be there and you won't always get the best of pay but things will get better. Keep a positive attitude and continue to work hard - save what money you can - one of these days you will be ready to move on to bigger and better things.

I would recommend quitting, BUT find yourself a better job first.
Being a teen, I am sure you would be much happier working at a mall clothing or accessory store or such, you will probably make more, (Could not make less) and get a clothing discount at most places as well...
Good luck!

not yet, first find another job, then quit. if you quit now, you may not have a way to pay for your cellphone bill at the end of the month...
i dont think it'll take long long there are a lot of easier jobs for teens.

Unless you can get another job that pays what you want, I wouldn't quit. How are you going to pay for your cell phone and school clothes if you are making nothing?
