They got people with disabilities, except for one or two of them...FYI the black "superstar" has a slight disability, too.

the black guy and the guy who was in love with the other girl are actually regular actors but the rest of them were mentally challenged which is pretty cool because you get a real sense on authenticity on what they are really like.

I heard some of them were actually that way and some of them were just actors. I can't remember which ones though. But you can kind of tell.
