Windows Live Messenger 8.0 [not beta!] Very good one!
With this one you get to send messages even if your contacts are not on line so they will recieve them when they get connected.
You get a shared folder so you can share files, photos with your contacts.
You can be like not connected but still can send and recieve messages.
Change the color of the windows.
And of course make calls to your contacts and video calls.
And calls to telephones [Windows live calls] but this one costs.

Now there's Windows Live Messenger Beta. Messenger 7.5 is older.

MSN 8.0 Beta

It's much different from the previous, but it's really cool. For example, you don't have to be online to talk to people. So if you only want to talk to one person, you can. Not only that, you can write messages to people who are offline and they will receive the messages the next time they come online. You have a little more ability to personalize the main window, and you can make phone calls.
