frankly, I believe that young people should not have their license until they are 21 years old. There are more accidents caused because of these young drivers than any other demographics. This is one of the reasons why our insurance rates are so high.

For each sex, the age group 16-19 shows the highest average annual crash and citation rates. The average annual crash rates for both young men and young women peak at age 16, their citation rates at age 18.

• The average annual crash rate for combined sexes declines through about age 69 and then increases, though it remains below the level for all ages combined.

I say reverse the number 1 and 5 and then I say yes! Males should get their drivers license at 51. The only after both parents sign for them!

I think they should give permits at 16, license at 18.

nay. but it really depends if they're mature and responsible. most guys that age are bad decision maker. Insurance rate are higher because of age - young drivers tend to have more accidents.

Well no..... I take it you're 15 and if you can't spell "driver's" then theres no way you should be able to drive.
