Actually, statistically, girls are better drivers than boys in the late teen years.
That's why insurance for a 16 year old boy is almost three times that of a 16 year old girl.
Perhaps males should have to wait until they're 21.

Defenatly NOT!!!! whats wrong with female drivers getting their liscence at the same age as men?! Statictically woman are better drivers and a lot more cautious than men...men only worry about looking good while they are driving and seeing who they can pick up on or whistle at...rather than paying attention to the road??

Hmm let me think....girl drivers are WAY better than males. Thats why male insurance is way higher than females. I think that *you* should be 45 before being aloud on here asking questions like these....are you bored or what?

Why should it be just females though? I mean surely driving ability shouldn't be on sex. I know many male 18 year old's that drive like idiots. Do you have a valid reason for women getting theirs later or are you just sexist?
