Some things I've done:
Have dinner with a treasured friend
Curl up with a good book next to the fireplace
Snuggle up with my kitties
Go on a shopping spree
Get my hair done
Get up and go to work (if I'm working for someone else besides myself at the time)
Spend time with the Lord knowing I'm one year closer to being with Him forever

No big thing, another year older, another to go. I've got family and I've got friends, no need for celabration because everyday is a party. If the need is dear, keep your secret and make someone else happy that day.

I usually just go out with a couple of friends to do sumthing i dont usually get to do and then to a nice resturant after.
