can i get rid of a wasp nest myself and if so how do I do it?

THE NEST IS UNDER MY AWNING ON MY LIVING ROOM WINDOW AND IS ABOUT 4-5 CM IN DIAMETER BUT GROWING

wait til dark and slip a strong plastic bag over it. Quickly haul the whole thing down and twist the bag closed. You could also spray the inside of the bag with wasp killer. It wouldn't hurt to wear clothes that will give you some protection just in case. Good luck, happy hunting.

just buy a can of wasp & hornet killer spray. it will spray out in a stream, so stand back a few feet and spray the nest. go back inside and wait 10 min. or so then take a broom and knock it down. problem solved.

a can of wasp spray long sleeve shirt. spray the nest and run, come back and repeat when wasps have left the area

Wait until night time and spray them with carburator cleaner. They will drop on contact. Costs less then wasp spray.

get some of that wasp spray that shoots way out there and hit it early in the morning when they are all still home

After dark when the bees are in their hive, spray the hive with wasp spray. It's dark and they don't fly around at night.
