Must be directx 9. Windows vista will require a Directx 9 graphics card if you intend running certain interphaes like Aero on your PC.
windows vista will also drive the switch over to directx capable 10 graphics cards.
Directx 10 (or Direct X as some are calling it now) is yet to be released.

Do you mean DirectX 9? Because if thats what you mean, it Vista requires you to have a graphics card upgraded with DirectX 9.0. To download DirectX 9.0 go to Microsofts site and download it.

Direct x 9.0? is that whatcha mean? Most new PC graphic cards are DirectX 9.0 compatible.
