Anything in large amounts is bad, but a ice cold beer on a hot summers day is good, not because it's intoxicating, but because it's refreshing and relaxing. About the vit b12 i have no clue, but i have heard that a beer or glass of wine a day can help prevent a heart attack, then again i could be misinformed about it so don't quote me.

a little is good for you, good for your intestine, gut and for variation in diet also small diluted amounts of alcohol trains your liver and kidneys to deal with minor toxins.
bad news, the extra energy needed to process the alcohol is not always there so the body stores it for the next encounter. producing extra thick fat molecules around these processing organs. The fat can be used when low sugar levels are present and toxins need dealing with.
producing...... the beer belly.
b12? wishful thinking, vitamin depletion is an effect of the alcohol.
if you go on the binge, when you get home eat a candy bar and sports drink, a vit c and b complex also help raise the glucose level helping the anti-toxin processes.
your body will not do its nightly processes until the alcohol is gone so stay up a while, relax, do a menial task or two, stick on a dvd or listen to music.

It can be good for you,as it does contain minute traces of some trace minerals. However the average pint of beer contains roughly 120 calories and so too many pints can be bad for the waistline. Beer is also bad in hot weather as it acts to dehydrate the body of precious water. Better solutions would include fruit juice or even just plain water, bottled if abroad, diue to the risk of stomach bugs.

it's "too good"
for today it's too nutritious
It has everything what our body needs on the chemical base
so if you drink everyday much and eat as usual at the same time you definitely get fat
but this is the only negative effect of beer :D
of course there is also alcohol .. but i guess a bottle of vodka is worser for your liver than a week full of beer drinking

Bad, Bad, Bad! It can eventually cause liver failure. That is why so many alcoholics are in desperate need of liver transplants today. There's nothing good about it. It is poison to your life. Be sober, it's a much better way to live!

Beer is good for you if drank in moderation. However too much alcohol over a long period causes kidney poisoning and liver dysfunction.

Good for you if you drink less than a six-pack per day. Bad for you if you drink more. Beer has calories which everyone needs also.

Both actually.
I have read a number of articles about it, but I am too lazy to put it in words.
Overall, beer is bad for you
