I went to an arcade the other day
it was a game simular to DDR but the arrows were diagonal
instead of up and down and side to side
does anyone know what game in talking about?

You may be referring to Pump It Up, which is Korea's own version of Dance Dance Revolution. Not only is Pump It Up uses diagonal arrows, but even the center platform is included. Most of the songs it has are Korean Pop-Songs, but it became just as popular as DDR thanks to many of the soundtracks done by DJ artist Banya.

I'm not sure what it was called, but I know what you're talking about. The game confuses me when it has the diagonal arrows.
