No he couldn't play Superman because he was too old. He could play Superman's dad or some other character, but after a while an aging Superman just isn't sexy.

Considering the CG effects that they used in X-MEN The Last Stand in the beginning of the film with Magneto and MR.X, I would say yes.

I wish. Unfortunately, lilke the others stated, he would have been too old. However, he could have played another character, like he did on Smallville. I really miss the guy - he was great.

Nah, he could maybe play Jorel, but everyone has to pass on the mantel after awhile. comic book characters never age, actors do.

No. Because of his level of limited all most unable to move on his own.. There is just no way he could do it. And it is a shame what happened to him.
