dose anyone know how to re-write a hard drive using a windows 98 boot disk?

Has the drive been formatted? Do you have the "key code" for your version of Windows 98? If Windows is still on the drive, you want to format the drive. Then you would boot to the installation disc and it will want to know the "key code". Hopefully, the code, which is usually on a sticker adhered to the computer's case somewhere, can be found. And also, that the version of Windows 98 that you have goes with this computer. Once the code is entered correctly, follow the on screen instructions. Find that "key code" FIRST!!
