I can't think of any styles in particularly; all styles are beautiful in their own way. Just please tell me how you think is a good way to dance.

I have been taking dance classes every year since I was in 2nd grade... now I am 14. I take tap, jazz, ballet, and pointe. I also help teach little kids how to dance. I have been at the same studio the whole time. Dance lessons, (besides being my favorite things to do ever!!!) have really paid off. Because at school dances, i don't feel awkward and out of place. Also... I just tried out for my highschool's dance team and I MADE IT!! YAY!! I guess in a way, it makes me more confident, and people look up to me.
I take dance from September to June every Monday night at 7:30 and Friday night at 5:00. I am very dedicated to dance and It is my life, my hobby and everything in between! What can I say?? I am obsessed!! LOL

Try putting on some fast music. Next, listen for the main beat. When you hear it, try to move left to right with the pace of the beat. One foot at a time. Once you get that down. Add your arms, then add your hips. Keep practicing. Much like the hokey pokey at first. Then just let your body flow. If fast music is too hard, start with slow. Look at your self in the mirror. Best wishes!

Experience should be a major way to learn. Or of course there should be some local classes like at a gym or you can look elsewere for formal dancing such as ballroom dancing. A lot of people actually take it in college incase they should need to know it in life. I guess it's a handy thing to know.

Let me see here.. It's got to be with a song that you TOtally, totally luv, hon.. I mean it speaks to you (corny..) I like that tho. Anyhow, I concentrate on moving one set of 'body parts' at once.. Yes, all styles are beautiful. (Hell, I just luv those 'flamingo dancers' and I'm more of a gothic.) Do you need to learn how to dance, I take it? you can do it.. I dance by myself by the way (yeah.. no where to go.) weird, eh? no.. I like it. I express myself.
