a chatroom banned me under a particular name but I CANNJOT log on under any username in that paeticular chatroom so I SURMISE that the whoke room must have a banning order on it or is there another way of them tracking me?

yes... normally... unless the cafe is weird and subscribes to two servers.. but it is POSSIBLE to be different.. just not practical
maybe the chatroom changed their password to keep you out?
