I do not believe that we evolved from monkeys. I believe that we were created by God. The bible is the word of God and it is true, therefore, I believe what it tells me.
I know that a lot of people say they don't believe in God. It is strange that when faced with a major trauma, these same people pray that God will intercede on their behalf. How do they expect Him to answer their prayers if He doesn't exist? As a Christian, I have seen this happen over and over again. When there is no relief anywhere else, they, quickly, turn to God! Why do some people only 'believe' in God when they need something? I don't understand, but God does, and that is why He will never forsake us and is always there for us.

Everyone had been monkey around with the idea that we are evolved from monkey. There must be a lost time and space at one point that the other monkeys got separated from the batch and stop evolving. But then if we are evolved from monkey , we should be able to produce monkeyman.

I just think it's too bad that whomever wrote the bible left out the part about all the the dinosaurs that inhabited the earth millions of years before humans came into the picture. Maybe god created dinosaurs in his own image. Maybe not. The point is no one really knows the answer to this and so many other questions regarding creation, god or life after death. Don't waste too much time pondering these and other questions that you can't answer or have any control over.

it is a loaded question in view which you notice, some are and a few are actually not. we've particularly no concept what different different species animals will evolve into. some strands of monkeys could certainly be evolving right into a species with very close helpful properties with modern-day-day human beings. even although, evolution happens over hundreds of thousands of years, and it is often two times your complete existence-time, if not greater, that a scientist will word that a lineage of monkeys stand one inch straighter than different monkeys of that species. different monkeys can be evolving flaps of epidermis to help them drift yet you will no longer noticing this for yet another thousand years a minimum of. the common concept is that there are mutations in genes. some are helpful, like having longer palms to entice close trees, some are actually not, like shorter palms. The efficient ones help the monkeys thrive and that they mate, passing the genes on. Then their super-grandchildren could have a mutation that may provide them even longer palms, and so over the years, new features will emerge. yet no monkey will ever evolve with features so heavily to human beings in a term the place you will discover the variations, so it may desire to be happening, yet you're actually not seeing it.

How can anyone believe there is an old man with a beard watching our every move? Ask the starving good people why this is happening. Ask the victims of war waged by religion (all of them) why this is happening. Seems leaving a few monkeys behind makes a lot more sense than what I see. I can never understand how religion can stand up to truth. I guess brainwashing is very effective. Oh yea, the DEVIL!!! Bring them there kids to church!!

Monkeys are still around because monkeys are successful. Not every monkey species had to evolve into a human like animal. It only takes one group to be isolated from others in thier gene pool for evolution to occur. Just look at whales, they came from a deer like animal millions of years ago, but there are still other deer around. Hope this helps!

Get an education.
Humans, apes and monkeys evolved from a common ancestor.
As the first poster stated.
How can you present a coherent, rational, believeable argument to something that you so very clearly do not understand?

u don't look 4 an answer that contradicts u right? unfortunately that's what according to statistics u will receive.
looking at the answers u will c how ignorant the ppl realy are, and if they like to think they are evolved apes that's what they will continue on saying and their faith will grow stronger.
"I believe that we were created by a higher power" - said u, wrong, wasn't this an open question?
next question...

actually the latest research indicates that the present day human and ape common ancestors may have interbred for a much longer period of time than previously thought. You should read some evolution though seriously. You can't discount something because you think you know what they're saying. You have to understand what they mean first. Why are there wolves still when the common dog (every breed) came from them? Your logical question isn't as thought out as it could be. Wouldn't stay afloat for a minute.
