Most likely you were way down the list of people to which she offered the job. Probably everyone else has turned down her offer...but since they need to fill the position...it's come down to you.
If she's gonna be your boss...you'd probably be better off looking elsewhere...unless you're really desperate...then take it until you find something else.
If she's a human-resources-type (personnel officer) and is not going to be your boss, take the job for a spin.

Sounds like a stress interview. They were common in the early seventies, especially for jobs dealing with the public (lenders, sales, retail). They have fallen out of favor because they tend to cross too many politically correct lines that in vogue now.

I labored with men for 25 years after I owned my welding kit employer. i bump into myself extra delicate operating with men, because I address the employer, and do not play stupid coy video games, nor do I have interaction in stupid gossip, and water-cooler travelling. My husband and that i have many acquaintances in which I knew the guy from employer, previously we knew them as a pair. i'd proceed to gown very conservatively professionally, and do not imagine that you're not any more being employed because you're nicely-endowed. end specializing in why women persons are not any more hiring you. concentration on WHY you're not any more getting employed, through anybody. Are there instructions you need to take to save your skills as a lot as top performance? imagine about this, no longer who's doing the hiring. once you stumble on the right mix, you receives the pastime, I promise!

Either you are WAY too sensitive to critisism, or the lady has self-esteem issues. It depends on whether or not you need the job. If you think you will be miserable there or you can't work with the lady, then I would look for something else.

She probably had a relative all lined up for the job then you came a long with better qualifications. I would try it. Maybe she was testing you or having a bad day.

She may have been trying to see how you handle stress. If you don't like her, and you know she'll be your boss, don't take the job.
