People say it is a beautiful language. But it really just sounds awful to me. The French language even sounds better than the spanish language.

Your Ignorance truly amazes me, the only reason that comes to my head of what it is that makes Spanish sound bad is when stupid Gringos pronounce Spanish words wrong... Or maybe when people mix it up with English to say "Parkiadero" instead of "Estacionamiento" for Parking space or "Mapiar" instead of "Trapear" for mopping. Just like the Anglo culture corrupts the Hispanic cultures, so does the English language corrupt the Spanish tongue. Try it, you just might like it...

Well is all a matter of taste if you ask me, in Spanish, just like in English, we have difrent accents, just like England's English sounds nothing like American English, Dominicas sound nothing like Cubans or Mexicans. I Must admit that the Spanish language has being greatly altered over the years by cultures, there are very little countrys out there that speak the real spanish language the way it should be spoken, I you want to listen to real Clear and clean Spanish, then you must locate an educated Colombian From Bogota, or a legitimate Spaniard From Galicia, they speak correctly and without trashing word over word.

it looks better in writing and when spoken eloquently it flows together and is easier to sing
listen to the gypsy kings
they rhyme all the time
hey look at me
golly gee
english aint so bad
dont be sad
similar endings in other languages
make it easier to rhyme loooonger words
a sexy spanish woman rolling her R's and whispering softly things you dont understand can be very exciting
spanish is different all over the world
mexican spanish is nice but latin american is sweeter
and some parts of spain those girls are ridiculously sweet
tanned skin and luscious lips
some Quebec french is all right Paris french is sexy
its the same as English the more refined and polite and elogant the person the better it sounds
you cant understand a kiwi and some aussi's and never mind a bloke from Liverpool England or a Newfoundlander from Canada
All english but all very different and attractively different to varying listeners...

that is a tough question. I love the spanish language and have spoken it since I was 8 years old. Now 71. It is one of the softest and most pleasent language I know. It has been trashed some and a lot of slang added, but I think that is English influence and gangs that speak a form of spanish much akin to the ebonics that black gangs and rappers like so well.

It's all in what you hear - I think the arabic language sounds like a filthy dirty language. It is spoken like cats trying to cough up hairballs. But really - if the Spanish language is so bad, why do so many people speak it and want to learn it?

Theres many, many ways to say somehting in spanish, meanwhile english its very limited... that's what makes spanish such a beautiful language. As for other languages i dont know... but i like italian too!

So Bad?? are you kidding?? Its beautiful!! I've studied Spanish, French, German, and Russian. English is my native language and it is BY FARRRRRR the most messed up language I have ever known. I can say "I LOVE YOU" In almost 40 languages and sayings in many others... I love languages. English, or Rather... AMERICAN!, is the most messed up language on the planet!!

True. Spanish does sound bad when you speak it and it sounds like a very primitive language. People who speak spanish sound stupid and cave-man like. Japanese is a beautifull language for sure. So is Italian. We should eliminate the spanish language and replace it.

That is because most Mexicans don't have a pretty tone of voice when they are speaking. Spanish people do. (French is a beautiful language so why are you dissing it?)
