Take for example Super Bowl XLI at Dolphin Stadium in Miami, Florida. Couid you see the Miami Dolphins winning the Super Bowl on thier own field where they play during the regular season.
Although it would be interesting to see a team win the Super Bowl on their own field, I do not see it happening this decade.

In FOOTBALL anything is possible....
But I do not think it will ever happen...
the closest I can remember it ever happening was the Traiders (Raiders) playing at the ROSE BOWL when it hosted the SUPER BOWL back in the 80's when they were in LA

Well,, the dolphins are NOT going to win this year but, that would, be very cool to see a team from the city where they are holding the super bowl be in the super bowl. I wonder if that has ever happened...I don'tthink so.,,.,

It is possible ... but not this season, since the Dolphins will not win the AFC Championship.

I do believe this will happen at some point. While I agree it probably won't happen this year, and it may take awhile, I see it happening eventually.
