when i first heard the song I write tragedies not sins I thought it was FOB but now I that I know it isn't them they sound nothing alike

Brendon of Panic! and Patrick of FOB have similar sounding voices, they've even acknowledged that, but if you listen to them enough you can tell the difference easily. As far as their music in general, Panic!'s album could be slightly comparable to From Under the Cork Tree by FOB, but compared to their older stuff -- no way, it's a completely different sound.

i remember the first time that i heard Panic! at the disco, i loved them and they reminded me of fall out boy and ... uh. i forget, but it was another really good band. its funny you should say that though, because i ask other people and they say ... uh no.
