Well that all depends on whether or not you believe God put animals on earth for us humans to eat. Some religions believe that God put animals on earth to be eaten. However there are religions such as Hinduism and Jainism that are opposed to eating any form of meat or animal product because suffering to any living thing is a sin to God. I do not believe animals were ever "put" on earth to be eaten. It is a scientific fact that early humans did eat meat but this was due to a lack of other food. Our bodies are not suited to eat meat as animals are. Do you feel hungry at the sight of a dead animal? No you don't because its not our instinct to eat meat. However its a matter of choice if you want to eat meat or not.

We are supposed to eat meat - just the kind that isn't bad for us (clean from their blood, etc.) That way, we don't carry on any of the illnesses, etc. that they may contain. But yeah - most animals are sent from God for us to eat (and then be thankful to Him for it.)

Meat is muscle fibres, tendon attachments, fascia and muscle spindle nerve endings not forgetting the Golgi Apparatus. P.S. What's the all the fuss about rump steak, why do people rave about eating a cows backside? oooo eeeerr!

Exactly, and someone ought to point out to all those milk-drinking cheese-eating "vegetarians" that their heavy consumption of dairy products results in lots of male Frisian calves which are used in the veal industry. Bloody hypocrites.
